Although NASOC is a North American Club, it welcomes Singer owners world wide to join. Trevor Leech, of Melbourne Australia, is one such member who regularly contributes his down under perspective to the NASOC News as well as the Singer Bulletin Board.
In addition to NASOC, Trevor is an active member of the Singer Owner's Club of Australia, through which he participates in a variety of competitive Trials, Regularity, Speed and Hill Climb events. We are anxious to see corroboration on his claims to have defied gravity on the latter event.
Trevor's Singer is a 1935 Le Mans Special Speed model serial number 62771, nicely restored from the ground up and finished to the original Signal Red and Ivory factory colour scheme. The chassis, springs and brake drums are finished in matching Signal Red.
Trevor's wife Pauline has also caught the Singer bug. She is seen standing beside CH 1078 at a local classic car meet.
