Gene and Lynn Mulder
Gene is a retired engineer and Lynn is a retired paramedic and they own a 1953 4 AD roadster.
While living in the Baltimore area, Lynn and I bought our 1953 4AD in November 1999 and started restoration in December. After replacing all the floor sheet metal and much of the wood framing, we finally completed our “project” in May 2006. Our Singer was a labor of love since we did all the work ourselves with the exception of the painting that was done professionally with Dupont BMW signal red.
Our first show was a British Car Show in Buckeystown, Maryland and we were entered in the miscellaneous class. Surprisingly we took third place and drove away very happy. We have since traveled to Michigan to a show in Kalamazoo with fellow club members, Dave and Ellen Norton.
