About these boards :
The boards are very self explanatory, you just read them and press the button to enter new messages. Messages entered are immediately posted on the board and are mailed to a select list of people who can answer the question or have expressed interest in being on the list. Each board has its own E-Mail list seperate from the other boards. If you want to be included on the E-Mail list or be removed from a particular board, just let me know and I will add/remove you. What I would suggest is that you visit these boards fairly regularly to see what is going on in the world of Singer's. And of course that means, ask questions too ! otherwise there will not be much happening. Also I specifically did NOT do a 'threading' board because I believe the traffic is so light that it would deter from use. I believe that in light traffic boards, its best to be able to see ALL messages at one time. I have a 'threading' board if the need arises.
These are various bulletin boards relating to Singer's.
1. The Club one is designed to be a club based board for the North American Singer Owners Club. Anyone may enter information or comments and questions in this board, but please keep it club related. It is designed to be primarily used by club officers.
2. The 'singer' board is designed to be a generic anything goes Singer board. This is the board that you should probably use most.
If you want your own board or pre-war/post-war, etc...then let me know. I am against these because I expect very light traffic on these boards and do NOT want to dilute the boards with no information. But since I believe that Minds are like Parachutes. They work best when open. I am willing to discuss it. And I wrote this to be able to add/delete boards VERY quickly.
