Just a note from a new member to say "Hi" to all and to thank whomever is responsible for the great website greeting. It was kick to see our '58 Gazelle on the home page and inside. You folks are fast! The ink on my membership check isn't even dry! Great site. Look forward to a long association. Will send pic of 4AD when it gets home. Hope to see some of you at Stowe, if not before. We've been SOC (UK) members for almost eight years and are kind of embarrassed not to have joined NASOC before this. Any other CT members out there? We're a crossover family as we also have '74 Jensen Interceptor III, '69 MGC-GT Automatic, and a '79 AMC Pacer (no kidding), but the Singers are our "keepers."

about the members dropdown. It has been up for a week now and no one has said anything. Yes, I am working on it, the membership list could have been up this weekend but I didn't have Inet access at home all weekend and some grumpy Canadians wanted Canada included in the list. I had for starters just the US, just to make it quick, it will be up very soon and the process at least in the begining will be to contact Peter or myself for a password.

Ton,
Do you have photos that you could e-mail? pavis@aol.com. I'd be very interested in seeing what the car looks like, along with more details. It sounds like one of 12 B-37 Sports Singers. Wouldn't that be a 1937 model?
Look forward to seeing hearing from you. I have a 1936 Singer Le Mans Speed Model, chassis 5324, but my records show @135 built in 1936.

Dear Mr. or Mrs,
My name is Marc Veenhuis I'm 38 years old and a car nut ever since I can remember, but ... now I've got arthroses joints disease so I'm homebound most of the time.
That's why I started collecting car emblems a few years ago, it's quite an educational car history hobby.
But I haven't got a Singer emblem yet, can anyone help me by sending an old or even slightly damaged Singer emblem ?
I will be very happy receiving one.
I cannot pay you but I'm willing to swap or trade.
please let me know.
Kind Regards,

Just a quick FYI to say that both issue 5-2000 (the Stowe Special) and 6-2000 are receiving final touches before printing so that everyone will (hopefully) receive
the final two issues of the year in time for Christmas, or shortly after. Delays are due to the usual: Very little in the way on contributions. SO if Paul and I have to
write and photograph everything as well as put the mag together it will be late I'm afraid :-)

frequently in the past years and this internet thing is a blast as it does cut down
on long distance phone bills. If you have any business you want addressed at our

Dermot,
Already being a collector, you know that condition is critical to price as is
location (UK/Europe vs North America). Also, is it a 2 seater or four seater. The 2
seater will command a slightly higher price.
In general, the 4 seater in excellent condition will command about $20-$22K USD and
the 2 seater a couple of thousand more.
